Ticket Ball Hunt

As an official sponsor of the US Open, Mercedes-Benz had 50 suite tickets to give away. Instead of giving them to preferred clients (as they do every year), we convinced them to do something different. We transformed each pair of tickets into an actual tennis ball — stating game date, row, and seats — and hid them around New York City for fans to find.

A social hunt around NYC to find 25 pairs of US Open tickets – in the form of tennis balls.

The all-new G-Class marked the areas where the ticket balls were hidden.

Clues were dropped on Instagram as the car moved around the city.

To launch the hunt, we released a video of Sloane Stevens (US Open defending champ) hitting ticket balls from inside Arthur Ashe Stadium to the streets of NYC.

And the hunt began.

Case study.
